Sending MMS

What is an MMS

An MMS is just like a text message but you can send pictures as well. The technical name for a normal text message is SMS or Short Message Service, whilst MMS means Multimedia Messaging Service.

Having trouble sending pictures?

You may need to enable your phone, just give your provider a call and they will switch you on free of charge. All the Major networks have excellent support on their site to enable Picture Messaging. If you are having difficulties please refer to your Networks web site:

Why do you use a long number?

Currently it is not possible to use a short code number for MMS.

How am I charged?

You will pay your normal MMS charge to your provider. In addition, once we have confirmed the order, you will be charged £1.50 which will go straight onto your bill. You will only ever be charged once per order and each order must be initiated by you.

How do you send an MMS?

The easiest way to send your text is by choosing the send option immediately after taking the shot.

Does it Matter what Network provider I use?

We support all the major networks in the UK.

Can I use your service if I have a pay-as-you-go phone?

Yes.

Registering

What will you do with our details?

Only send you your photos. Your details will not be used for any sort of mail shots.

How does Registration Work?

When you send your first MMS, we will send you a registration request which explains what you have to do. Remember you only need to register ONCE.

I get a Text saying my Registration was not correct. What should I do?

For your text to get to us you must send it to the correct number and you must use the keyword Photo. The most common problem is that you have not left a SPACE after the key word.

How do I change my Address?

Each time we send you a confirmation of your order we include your phone number and your password. You can come to this site and login to edit your details or change your options. Notice that your phone number is something like 44793 not 07973.

What options are available for Printing?

If you login you can select the default number of images per page, though this may increase if the images you send us are small. You can also select the colour of the background.

Taking your Photo

Can I use any Camera Phone with your service?

Yes, but if the camera takes a very small image or if your camera re-sizes the image before sending the MMS, then we may print the same image several times on the paper rather than just one large image. This way you can be sure that you will always get good quality prints.

How do I take a Great Photo?

How quickly will the print arrive?

Prints will arrive within 2 or 3 working days.

Can I send my Photo to a non UK address?

No, we can only dispatch within the UK.

I get more than one image on the Page!

If the image you sent was small we will print more of them on the page - otherwise the quality of the photo would be very poor.

The image I sent was large!

Even if the image you chose to send is large, it may be re-sized by your phone. Most phones have options that allow you to control this re-sizing. Consult your phone's manual.
